Vince Rossi is a musician, songwriter and master of numerous instruments, with a special love for guitar, piano and synthesizer. One of his notable musical accomplishments is his role as lead guitarist for the legendary Gary Wilson and The Blind Dates . A childhood friend of Wilson, he was exposed to and influenced by many alternative forms of music at an early age including The Fugs, The Velvet Underground, Captain Beefheart, Frank Zappa, and John Cage, to name a few.
Vince Rossi has produced a large body of recordings in which he has played all the instruments. This in itself is not unique, but some of the music has turned out to be refreshingly innovative. Vince does not try to sound like anyone else. He channels a subconscious mysterium of musical feeling, playing whatever comes to mind.
Vince Rossi's debut single "Working A Lot" contains a song of the same name written while working in a high-tech job trying to balance work and spending time with his girlfriend. The flip side is a jazzy keyboard instrumental. Some short samples are included here for your listening pleasure.
