About Me

Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

Allright so this is about me so here it goes. I work at Secure Storage and Shredding which handles document storage and also document shredding. My favorite game is Doom which was released in 1993 but still kicks more ass then all the other junk on the market. I can write HTML very well and Java Script ok. Generally I try to be cool with people, and I am easy to get along with.

In turms of Computer knowledge I am up there. I know how to build computers, Program webpages and some small C apps. Also am working on Mobile technologies (IE pocket PCs, Palm Pilots, Smart phones) applications in a work environment. For example we use a pocket pc modifies with a bar code scanner to catalogue all the boxes at secure storage and shredding.

I also am practicing developing webpages for mobile devices. The small screen and notched down browser tech means that most mobile devices have a hard time viewing desktop sized webpages. There are two trains of thought on this. One is design a website that is compatible with both desktop and mobile devices. The second is to develop two websites one for mobile devices and one for desktop pcs and insert javascript that will detect if you are on a mobile device or not.

As for Doom, the most awesome game ever. I am actively involved in the community. I develop my own Doom wads which are essentially maps, weapons, or sound modifications. I am also a memeber of a clan called AOD or Angels of Doom.

In turms of music I do not listen to alot, but when I do it is usually from bands like Metallica and Led Zepplin. I am more into older rock and instrumentals.

Movie wise I like alot of crime movies. Pulp Fiction is one of my favorites. Along with Last Man Standing with Bruce Willis, even though it didnt have as much exposure as it should have. Not much of a science fiction fan unless it is one of those old school zombie horror films like the original Dawn of the Dead.

Also incase anyone wanted a link to the best free office suite on the whole internet

I was thinking about people I would like to meet, and I came up with a few. I would love to meet Bill Gates that way I can have a chance at throwing a pie in his face for making a OS that has practically taken over the world. John Carmack and John Romero so that way I can thank them for creating both Doom and Quake, the two best games ever made. Last, is American McGee for creating the second best game ever, Unreal. Which if wasnt destroyed in UT2003 and UT2004 would have been the best game ever.

for good measure heres a pic of Bill Gates after being pied

Music:

White Snake, Led Zepplin, Black Sabbeth, Blue Oyster Cult, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Rolling Stones, Primus, Poets of the Fall, POD, Pantera, Ozzy Osbourne, Eddie Money, Crossfade, CCR, The Beastie Boys, Filter, Golden Earing, Faith No More, Judas Priest, Joe Satriani, Guns N Roses, The Eagles, ACDC, Kiss, Tom Jones, Velvet Revolver, and the list goes on.

Movies:

Pulp Fiction, Scarface, Last Man Standing, Serenity, and Mean Guns.

Basically any old school gangster movies, a little sci-fi here and there. I also enjoy once in a blue moon standard action movies with little to no plot. Straight action throughout the whole movie.

Television:

South Park, Drawn Together, and the simpsons are some of my favorites.

I like the adult cartoons that have adult humor. As for anime well I think its pretty gay but then again thats just my opinion.

Books:

Mostly just reference books on programming, or stories about programmers like Masters of Doom.

Heroes:

I prefer not to idolize anyone instead I just try and be myself and do what I think is right. I try not to rely on people to pass off morals and values to me I prefer instead to come up with morals and values that I think are right.

I guess if I had to pick people that would be my heroes it would be these ones

John Carmack

American McGee

John Romero

and Nolan Bushnell
