STAB IN THE BACK 1) verb phrase (1916): to harm, damage, attack in a treacherous manner, betray a trust. The implication here is that an attack on one’s efforts or name has come from an unexpected source or from and unexpected direction.

My musical tastes are varied but just as an indication I have listed a few things below

Television:

I don't watch a lot of TV but I like watching Coronation Street, because (as my boyfriend would say) 'you can take your brain out and put it in a jam jar and still be able to folllow what is going on'. Blanche (played by Maggie Jones is great and is my favourite character, she has some great 'one liners'.

I am also a big fan of old comedy shows like Rising Damp. Leonard Rossiter and Richard Beckinsale were a class act.

Also I admire the work of Ronnie Barker. I have recently been re-visting gems such as Poridge, Going Straight, Open all Hours and Clarence.

Books:

I have never been too keen on reading books but I do have a few, mostly biographies/autobiographies, as I like to keep things real!
My boyfriend has just bought me a book on Audrey Hepburn which I looking foward to having a look through soon
