Whats Up people, You can call me R-O, R-O-B, Rob or Robby, I don't care. I am 29 a musician and DJ from Northern California. I run and own Root One Music, an independent record label specializing in Hip Hop and Reggae. I have been DJing for 10 years and have played at numerous clubs throughout the west coast. I also was the DJ for the group Natural Disaster and have DJed extensively for Radioactive from Spearhead who is one of my best friends. I have put out three mixtapes, Quannum Sole a compilation of tunes from The Quannum/Solesides family, Summer '02, and The England Tour '04 mixtape. I toured England with one of my other best buddies Dayo, who is also 1/3 of Natural Disaster and a gifted artist and MC, check his tunes out on myspace many of which I produced. In England dayo and I shared the stage with the legendary turntabilists the Executioners, formerly the x-men as well as Cannibis. I graduated from the Conservatory of Recording arts and Sciences with a degree in sound engineering. Graduated from UCDAVIS with an american studies degree. I also am a former assistant to A&R at Interscope Records in L.A. I am also the executive producer of the Band SHAKEDOWN, whom I manage as well.
