Don't hate me cuz you ain't me! ;-)

About Me

I'm 27 years old, married to a 2nd tour Drill Instructor in the Marine Corps. My husband has been in the USMC for over 11 years, and so we've got 9 more to go... He's currently stationed at NAVSTA Newport, Rhode Island as a DI at the Naval OCS training officers. Leave it to the Navy to use Marines to do the job they can't! ;) We have 3 kids together. Miranda is 5 1/2, Madelyn is 4 1/2, and Aidan is 3 1/2...yes, you can say it, we're certifiably insane, but the blessings that the Lord has given me through those amazing children, I just can't even describe. I'm not currently working outside the home, but that isn't to say that I'm not extremely busy. I am so grateful that my husband makes it possible for me to "stay home" with our kids...though we hardly stay home. I participate in several Bible studies, sing worship music, do volunteer work, love to serve the LORD, read, and spend the rest of my time shuffling the kids around to AWANAS, swim lessons, soccer, playdates, storytime, Aidan's speech therapy, etc. etc. I am also attending college...still. I'm on the 20 year plan. ;) Actually, I'll probably always be in school. It's the nerd in me. I should probably get that elusive piece of paper one of these days though.
