I am here for Friends

About Me

Yogini/Artist...So...what can i say? (It's only taken me 4 years to fill in this part of the "Myspace" questionaire.)Studied music(violin), dance and sewing since childhood. Spent some years in college studying science, math and philosophy...also love literature.Worked for several years in Manhattan as a fashion editor and writer for a magazine called Sportswear International. Was advised to try yoga in 1994 during fashion career. Wanted to be a clothing designer so my Computer Guru Dad trained me to worked in I.T. and DOT-COM for five years programming and doing Oracle database work so I could afford to do that? The crash in dot-com resulted in teaching yoga since 2001.Always just wanted to be a student of yoga (Love retreating to class, chillin' and regrouping.) They say eventually, the student must teach. So here we are now...seven years later. Teaching yoga, practicing yoga, constructing random clothing projects, spending quality time with my wonderful family and friends and attending as many rock shows and art shows as possible. Whenever possible I travel to see the teachers who inspire me most...when home in Dallas, inspiration comes from practicing and the students and community here.

My Interests

yoga, art, music, fashion, culture, philosophy, humor, people, the animals, the planet...being in harmony with all things...

I'd like to meet:

So...again, this has taken about 4 years to define.People who are interesting...love artists...relate to that. People who are about something...and who actually do it. People who say what they mean and mean what they say. People who respect each others boundaries. People who understand and support the practice of mutually beneficial relationships...or at least have the intention to explore the idea of relationships that encourage growth and who wish to uplift and support those they are involved with to achieve their potential. Then again, is this something that can really be defined?Ultimately, either we relate with others or we don't, its beyond the intellect...so SWAHA!In terms of MySpace...basically, if I don't already know you or have never met you, then chances are I will not add you...so please do not contact me.
