About Me

Balls-Out Ball 2007 is a charity benefit for the San Francisco Fog, a predominantly gay rugby team. The event will feature Julie Brown, co-star and writer of the film “Earth Girls Are Easy”. The event will also feature a bachelor and bachelorette date auction with at least five rugby players putting themselves up for bid, women ruggers performing a burlesque dance, and several male ruggers performing a strip show where they have pledged to go all the way and show the “Full Monty.” The benefit, scheduled for October 13th, 2007, will help the Fog raise funds to travel to Dublin, Ireland in June 2008 to compete in the fourth biannual Mark Kendall Bingham Memorial Cup, an international gay rugby tournament founded in honor of Fog member Mark Bingham who perished in the terrorist hijacking of United Airlines flight 93 on September 11, 2001. Tickets are $50 - $150 online (Frantix.net), $80 - $180 at the door (at Danz Haus, 1275 Connecticut Street). 6pm til midnight.*******************The San Francisco Fog R.F.C. is a club committed to an ethic of inclusion. The vision of the club is to be the preeminent rugby club in the world that actively pursues the participation of people of color, gay men, women, and other groups traditionally under-represented in rugby. Over one hundred members strong, Fog Rugby welcomes newcomers, as well as experienced players, coaches and supporters of all ages, races and sexual orientations.

My Interests

Funds raised from this FABULOUS night of non-stop entertainment will go towards sending THREE FULL SQUADS of players to the Bingham Cup in Dublin, Ireland next spring. Here is the video submitted by the Dublin team, THE EMERALD WARRIORS, that helped them secure the privilege of hosting Bingham Cup '08!

Movies:

THE BIG GAY FRAT HOUSE, HOST OF THE FIRST BALLS OUT BALL LAST YEAR HAD POSTED A VIDEO OF LAST YEAR'S FULL MONTY STRIP. UNFORTUNATELY, SOME PRUDE MUST HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE SLIGHT NUDITY AND IT HAD TO COME DOWN. TO MAKE IT UP TO YOU...WE PLAN ON BIGGER AND BETTER STRIPPING THIS TIME OUT! COME ON OUT TO THIS YEAR'S EVENT ON Saturday October 13th TO FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF!

Heroes:

MARK BINGHAM, HERO OF UNITED'S FLIGHT 93. BECAUSE WITHOUT HIS COURAGEOUS AND SELFLESS ACTS AS WELL AS THOSE OTHER NATIONAL HEROS WHO STOPPED THE TERRORISTS, THE INTERNATIONAL GAY RUGBY SCENE WOULD NOT HAVE OPENED OPPORTUNITIES TO SO MANY GAY ATHLETES.
