Balls-Out Ball 2007 is a charity benefit for the San Francisco Fog, a predominantly gay rugby team. The event will feature Julie Brown, co-star and writer of the film “Earth Girls Are Easy”. The event will also feature a bachelor and bachelorette date auction with at least five rugby players putting themselves up for bid, women ruggers performing a burlesque dance, and several male ruggers performing a strip show where they have pledged to go all the way and show the “Full Monty.” The benefit, scheduled for October 13th, 2007, will help the Fog raise funds to travel to Dublin, Ireland in June 2008 to compete in the fourth biannual Mark Kendall Bingham Memorial Cup, an international gay rugby tournament founded in honor of Fog member Mark Bingham who perished in the terrorist hijacking of United Airlines flight 93 on September 11, 2001.
