Perkaksns are percussionists with no lack of energy. In the very begginings of their work they decided to nurture as many musical traditions as possible. Their first performance was with brazilian samba batucada played on festival Zarjavele trobente in Litija. After that they started to play African rhytms, rhytms from Middle East and also some modern pieces for percussion. In 2003 they have performed on Skisova trznica in Ljubljana for the second time, they represented Litija in Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana , they organized first festival Maj mladosti in Litija. The next year the number of performances doubled, and Perkak..ns performed aproximately twice a month. They performed on the first festival Mat-Kultra where they were performing in five different towns across Zasavje region in five days. In september they organized their first yearly concert in Litija. In 2005 their most important project was called My Africa and was performed together with Kike. They made this performance for the second Mat-Kultra festival in Hrastnik. They bought three new drums – sangba, kenkeny and dununbe. They also performed all across Slovenia (Final Flash Izola, Le soleil) and travelled to Austria to Friesach. In 2006 they went on their first gig outside EU in Bosnia and Hercegovina, where they were guests on fair of turism named Mediteranski dani Trebinje 2006 and 2007. In year 2006 they made second dance&music show with dancers Kike named In Africa. They performed in Friesach again, and were part of Unicef's concert on national television. In 2007 most important shows were in Europapark (GER), on medieval festival Fiery Cartusia in Zicka kartuzija (SLO), on Spancirfest in Varazdin (CRO) and of course yearly concert named "Noisy thoughts" in Litija. In the future Perkaksns would like to learn as much as possible in all fields of music, make as many performances as possible and grow in all senses.This short clip was shot by Boris Malibu on our concert Noisy thoughts in Litija on 13. december 2007. Song is called Tretcomat and is mostly improvised. The main theme is carried by drumset, guitar and trumpets. Bass guitar and various percussion are trying to fill the rest.
