The Princess Bride - (see book description), Harrison Ford in any kind of adventure/hero ala Han Solo and Indiana Jones, any comedy - romantic, goofball, sophmoric, you name it. Classic movies - particularly with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn - all time fave is Bringing Up Baby. Classic thrillers...Rear Window, Gaslight, North by Northwest.
When its on...I know it's terrible but I am addicted to America's Next Top Model. I know there are others like me out there....don't deny your true feelings. The West Wing and how can you not like Law and Order...I'm pretty sure you can watch it at almost any hour of the day.
.1 Fiction - The Princess Bride. A classic tale of true love, fencing, fighting, giants, swordplay, witches, magic men, pirates, and logic. Read the book. Better than the movie..1 Non-Fiction - The Gospel of Germs - The Black Death and the World it Created. The funniest non-fiction book I've ever read. I could imagine sitting in a lecture hall with the author and just having a fabulous time. Not only was it hilarious, the info was awesome and topic really interesting. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up.Other faves - Clive Cussler, Tom Clancy, John Sandford, Patricia Cornwell, Marian Keyes, Sophie Kinsella, Dan Brown, dirty romance novels, and pretty much any chick lit.
