About Me

The Museum of Garden History (or the Garden Museum) is an old church building in central London, on the Thames by Lambeth Bridge. We are open to the public 6 days a week, Tuesday to Sunday, from 10.30am to 5pm, and also on Bank Holiday Mondays, and we are the world's first Museum dedicated to the education and understanding of gardening throughout the ages.
We are also an arts venue, holding lots of music concerts and jazz festivals. We tend to run alternative music events - indie/electronica/experimental etc because our music programmer, Chris, likes this stuff!
THE GIGS & CONCERTS CALENDAR IS BELOW LEFT
Being an old church we have incredible acoustics and a great intimate setting, and also one of London's finest VEGETARIAN restaurants, so whether you come here during the day to visit the Museum, or during the evening for a concert/gig, you are guaranteed great food, and the thrill of drinking in church too!
If you want to contact us - we are on 020 7401 8865, or email [email protected]. We also hire out the Museum for parties and it is very popular for wedding receptions - the place looks amazing! If you are interested in hiring the Museum, email [email protected].
Looking forward to seeing you here soon.
