Some say there is a man, and this man is Stephen Vanderpool otherwise known as S.Vanderpool. It all started way back in time around the age of 16. Times were going hard as were every other teenager in the world at that age. Frustrated always looking for something new and exciting to do. Listening to music had always been his passion; playing music had always been his dream. It was Christmas 1994 that changed his life forever. He had asked his aunt and uncle for an acoustic guitar for Christmas. And He received this life-changing gift that Christmas morning. His life would never be the same. Driven by a force deep down inside he surrounded himself around influences such as Three Dog Knight, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Peal Jam, and the legendary Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, and many others. It was such an unusual combination of music. In 1995 he spent plethora of his time marinating himself with the sounds of Motown and John Denver. This was the year that He teamed up with fellow classmates Chris, Wes, and Tank to form the innovative sounds of alternative meets R&B. The results were ahead of their time. Mr. Vanderpool took melodic vocals with a hard edge to crunchie guitar cords with the perfect blend of sweet vibrant notes, and backed it up with very intricate and structured drum and bass lines. When Tank the bass player died it did not take long for the magic to fizzle and fade away. Our band disbanded in 1996. Gathering his thoughts Vanderpool went on thru the next couple of years trying to find his way through life, joining a couple bands here and there. It was not until October of 2005 that his life would change. That was the time he hooked up with an up and coming producer named Blasa Blace. Vanderpool started writing and recording music with Blace right away. Coming up with the hit song "This Way" that swept the local strip club scene by storm. Building his fan base and recording his first ever solo album; he was handed a lot on his plate. Firing of song after song out of the lab, people started to recognize this was not your average run of the mill singer. He has a charisma about him that is warming for others to be around. Listening to the sounds from his heart can bring the toughest thug to tears. The lyrics he writes is from life experiences that has held him hostage many times. To see S.Vanderpool on stage and to hear his message is a life-changing event. Now teamed up as the Made Men Committee with Blasa Blace, Juice Yke, Mr. Lunitic, Charlie Disco, Brick Breza, Jahid and last but not least who keeps the heart steadily beatin DJ Jon Craze. Together they form a country ghetto kind of aura that throws people a curve ball of talent. Keep watch on S.Vanderpool because only great things are yet to come. He welcomes all new fans and old with songs of smiles and sunshine, heartaches and pain. The true feelings of life...
