theD.L.O. is the blues guitarist composer and producer/DJ Gianluca Paiella.
After more than 15 years playing rock bands, experimental projects (I.H.C.),
producing music for cinema , tv and pop music
Gianluca, nicknamed "Mango" ,
tired of predefined structures from commercial music, finds out that so called
Techno music, is the only genre in constant evolution.
In 2004 he creates theD.L.O.... "the dangerous living organisms" a LIVE SET project,
that has had collaborations with other musicians and DJjs.
Gianluca grows up artistically as a DJ at GOAclub (Rome),resident in 2006/07 for "Anarchy In The Club! " (Rome) and for HIPE at "TheBeach" 2008(Turin)
theD.L.O. participated at important international events like:
,Amore2007,UltraBeatOut,ELITA and played line ups with :ChemicalBrothers, Afrika Bambaataa, Richie Hawtin, Ricardo
Villalobos, 808State, Marco Carola, Gaiser, Marc Houle, Adam Bayer,Magda,Speedy J,Steve Bug,Guido Schneider,JPLS,Troy Pierce, Heartthrob, Quenum, Luciano, Daniel Stefanik, Davide Squillace,Ellen Alien, Massi DL, Locodice,
Pan Sonic, Joey Beltram, Thomas Brinkmann, Pig&Dan, James Holden and many more....The sound is a mixture of deep,house,minimal,funky,Detroit Techno,
with a dynamic live set based on improvisation rather than
already arranged structure and sound sets.
Gianluca is currently working on his tracks and productions and having upcoming
releases on Davide Squillace's label MINISKETCH
