Many of those who followed the Finnish idol 2007 remember Jannika Bergroth as the girl in red who won many hearts with her openness and sweetness.
Jannika was born 28. February 1985. She was brought up in a family were music was a part of their everyday life. Already from the first years of her life, her days were filled with music and dance. It is said, that Jannika could dance long before she even was able to walk. Jannika has been performing throughout her life and her charm and stage charisma has always been noticed and acknowledged.
In her teens Jannika began to sing more and more due to the encouragement of her friends. At this time her talent was still unknown for her family. As a big surprise to everybody Jannika informed her family and friends, the evening before the auditions in Oulu, that she will attend the Idols competition.
Qualifying into the 24 semifinalists and finishing second in her group was a personal victory to Jannika. The enormous amount of praise and support convinced Jannika to continue reaching for the stars.
