About Me
Sister Eherta Tsadik (Sister of the Holy Ones - Amharic) has been singing for a number of years. She has worked with artists - Nyanjah, Aqua Levi and the Ruff Cut Band. Previously sharing a stage with Pure Gold, Akubu, Vivian Jones & Alton Ellis.Part of the Tabot family she is currently working with Ras Muffet on a number of tracks and has recently released a AA 10" single, Jah Ras Tafar I and Yesus Christos.Ras Tafar I is at the centre of Sister Eherta's being from which everything else is born. She is passionate about world issues, particularly those effecting African people at home and abroad. Over the years she has worked as a youth and drug outreach worker and is currently a senior learning mentor at a London school supporting children to breaking barriers to their learning and supporting family communication.Music has been a major influence in her life. She recalls being inspired by countless artists - Dennis Brown, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Hugh Mundell, Curtis Mayfield, Judy Mowatt and individual tracks - African People, Forever Loving Jah, Souls of Africa and many many more.Sista Eherta believes the message in the music can change the world and she is ready to impart hers.
