Music:
I love so much music. I prefer singer songwriter/Indie/Rockabilly,Blues, and Acoustic/Americana but it's hard to hear it anywhere on the radio.
Mostly, I catch it on Music Choice Cable TV (I don't care if its cheesy or not-at least they play some of it unlike most radios stations-I know a few do.. but...)-and myspace areas that showcase Indie/Folk/Alternative/Acoustic/Ambient-etc.
And of course-the mainstay-rock and roll-
some punk-Otherwise,
I'm open to practically all types of music-for lack of a better word-I sort of fall into the realm of eclectic in my tastes.

Television:
Not much into tv anymore.
Like to catch a Bill Maher show now and again. Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart. Bill Moyers. PBS documentaries.
Mad TV has long made me laugh over SNL anymore. SNL lost me a long time ago from the past glory days. The Office and My Name is Earl.
Otherwise it is the IFC channel now and again for good independent films-same for Sundance. Also, The Sopranos, Big Love and my all time favorite on HBO: Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Weeds On Showtime when I can catch it.The News- but try to catch a little on varying channels and mostly online to get some variance and not just the bull sound bites from the major networks.I really like documentaries a lot and independent films whether I can catch them on tv or in a film house.
Books:
Lolita-
The Great Gatsby-
The Unbearable Lightness Of Being-
Another Bullshit Night In Suck City-
Anything by Anais Nin and Henry Miller-

Anything By Brett Easton Ellis-

Less Than zero-
And so many more-
Heroes:
Let me think on this one-
For now, Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Amy Goodman-Greg Palast-Anyone who stands up for the underdog-people who actually sincerely care for their fellow human beings-anyone who stands up against the establisment. People who are willing to be sincere and honest and truly care about others. Teachers-espcecially special need teachers.
