Optimists. Dreamers. Believers. Genuine people. Someone who can show me things I don't already know. Kim Peek.Historical heros such as Schindler and Virginia Hall.Fictitious characters such as Yang Guo... haha :-P
All kinds. Hip-Hop, R&B, Rock, Pop, classical... I dig soulful voices and/or very catchy beats/lyrics. Feel-good music. Some old school stuff is really fun -- Elvis, Jackson 5, Ray Charles etc.
Predator, Armaggedon, Pay it Forward, Schindler's List, Blow, Fight Club, Shawshank Redemption, The Sweetest Thing, Boondock Saints, Indecent Proposal, Ice Age, 28 Days Later, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, The Incredibles, Two Brothers, In Her Shoes, The Illusionist... old school fighting movies...
Project Runway, Simpsons, Fear Factor, AFV, Friends, SouthPark, anything Animal Planet... Lost, Prison Break, House. The telebie on dvd concept is ingenious.
Inspirational/motivational stuff by authors such as Dale Carnegie. Philosophical stuff by authors such as James Allen. Educational stuff for self-improvement, including Dummies books. Books in foreign languages such as Jin Yong's (Louis Cha) 14 collections, with the Condor Heroes series on the top of my all-time favorite ranking list. Novels, textbooks, comics... knowledge is a powerful thing.
