'"www.MonkeyChill.com is a brand spanking new T-shirt company. We have our own way of doing things, this can be reflected in 3 ways People, Planet and Profit, here is what they are about...PEOPLE
ALL our T-shirts are Fairtrade, this means that the people that make them get fair wages, a better working environment and support in sustainable growth for them and the community. We also try to buy supplies from local independent companies to help support the local economy rather then buy from mean money hungry large corporations. We say boo to them and yay to lil independent shops!PLANET
Our T-shirts are also ALL Organic, we do not want the world covered in chemicals and nasty stuff. We recycle as much waste as possible and try to get all our paper from FSC/recycled sources. Our ink is water-based and non-toxic, our cleaning solutions are all biodegradable. Everything we make is animal and cruelty free, we like animals and want to live with them not use them, our silkscreens are made of polyester and NOT silk :)PROFIT
As an independent company we try to do what we can, we accept a smaller profit so that we can use materials that are people and planet friendly. We regularly donate to various environmental and animal charities. We adopted a green turtle called Charlie who lives free in the Carribean, we support him and the conservation charity that looks after him and his friends. As we move on as a company we will invest into new charities and conservation projects, its what we like to do!
