Independent and foreign films, cuisine I can't pronounce, travel requiring a passport, long road trips, travel writing, journalism, plane rides to anywhere.
People who like to travel and write about it. And weirdos. I love weirdos.

Anything independent and/or foreign. The more challenging visually and mentally, the better. Favorites include Brazil, Clockwork Orange, Requiem for a Dream, Little Otik, Lost in Translation, Taxi Driver and Bladerunner. Much props to Terry Gilliam and Stanley Kubrick. I also like The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Napoleon Dynamite, Spinal Tap, The Jerk, Caddy Shack and Tommy Boy because laughing is good, too.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Six Feet Under, The Amazing Race, The Family Guy, Insomniac, Ren and Stimpy, true crime/forensic shows, all travel shows, Czech TV, Wondershowzen, Top Chef, Project Runway, Extras, Flight of the Conchords
Anything by John Steinbeck, Henry Miller, Charles Bukowski, Ernest Hemingway, J.D. Salinger, Philip K. Dick and Hunter S. Thompson. Give me a book and I will be happy for days.
