Emdee began rapping back at the age of 14. Between then and 2003 Emdee had succeeded in establishing himself as an artist in the UK, Emdee could be found smashing verses on mixtapes such as Tuco's "Exposing The Fakeness", hosting the revolutionary "Southbound" jams at the Matrix with UK Legend Rodney P and C Monts, and independantly releasing his debut EP "Blindness"
Since then Emdee moved to the Czech Republic where he continued to work on Hip Hop relentlessly promoting himself and performing across the whole country. After a year of solo performances alongside DJ Tuco and other guest DJs including DJ Orion (PSH) & DJ Trafik (PSH) Emdee crossed paths with Bronx born rapper NI. The two emcees joined forces and, with DJ Tuco, formed The Regime, one of the most energetic and charasmatic groups to ever hit the Czech scene. Their collaborations with Indy A Wich (Out Of The Fire part 2) and their smash single "Change The Channel" became instant classics, not just in the Czech Republic, but also found fans in the UK, Italy and Germany and even a review of "4.5 out of 5 - Single of The Month" from Bbarak magazine and none less than 4/5 from all other magazines and websites around the world.
The Regime were set to blow, but after 2 years of almost non-stop touring around the czech republic, shows in Germany, Holland, Slovakia and more, the group decided to split over creative differences and to persue their solo projects.
Since then Emdee has released the smash "Diary of an Emcee" with Idea, hosted the Hip Hop Kemp 2006 festival, completed a tour of Slovakia and can now be found co hosting the radio show "The Best Damn Rap Show" weekly on National czech radio "Radio Wave".
His solo album was released Oct 2007 on P.ATrick Records/EMI and features production from DJ Wich (cz), Beatsense Crew (hu), Reme (de), P.R (Australia) and more aswell as featuring guest appearances from
C Monts (uk) & Envi (pl) and 3x world champion DJ Tigerstyle, it is
sure to be just as much of a smash as his previous work with The Regime.
