Teenage suicide is a growing epidemic. The amount of kids making the horrible decision to end their lives is unfortunately astounding. Suicide is the most avoidable way to die. Many teenagers feel that they have nothing to live for and no where to turn to. I am here to show these kids that they do have a place to turn to people to talk to. Because myspace is such a success within the youth, I decided to make my online presentation on myspace. I feel this will make the biggest impression on the youth. Here, they can turn to myspace pages such as this and find that they are not alone. They can see that other people feel this way as well. They can make friends with people who feel this way and care for one another and find hope for themselves here. Myspace is also a great way to help teens who suffer from depression or have suicidal thoughts because in my blog, I have given them the tools they need to seek help. They can find websites and hotline numbers that will help them. I hope my myspace page can save lives and encourage people to look for the warning signs of others so that they can help one another.
