PimpMyArea.comDJ Trackin has been making serious moves in the up and coming drum and bass scene for the last 3 years now and currently shows no sign of slowing down. Having started DJ’ing at the age of 15, he soon realised that entertaining crowds was the way he wanted to go. Music quickly became more than just a bit of fun and fast turned into something of a passion.
After many years of being involved with bands at school and college, he decided to focus more predominantly on his love for mixing Jungle/drum and bass as we now know it. After holding some successful party’s to gain experience playing his first few gigs he was eager to get out there and show fellow drum and bass lovers how he could get the dance moving.
Socialising wherever possible Trackin soon met a lot of helpful people within the scene who would go on to become good friends and push him further in the direction he wanted to be heading. After bugging various midlands up and coming promoters such as Disfunktion (Leicester) he was given the chance to play to a decent crowd again where he was bound to impress. This only led to bigger and better things! Given his first big break playing at the infamous regular event Genetic supporting the likes of Nicky Blackmarket, Moving Fusion and Jaydan he had his first taster of being a small part of something big.
Going on to gain residency at one of his local dnb nights Disk-Connected through good friends DJ GOLD and DIRTY he was more than happy to be given the chance to play in his hometown club scene. Here is where he regularly supports the top dogs of the local midlands scene.
Still going strong and becoming increasingly involved in his local dnb scene and beyond Trackin shows no sign of holding back. Having already played at well established nights such as Genetic, Sunday Rollerz, Disk-connected, Magnetik, Konnection, Rebirth, Flava-unit, and Urban Fury he is still putting maximum effort into trying to push himself out there amongst the people who make things happen! Supporting most of the big names in dnb, at present he has supported the likes of:
DJ Hype, DJ Hazard, Jaydan, Nicky Blackmarket, Clipz, Moving Fusion, Steppa, Escape, Disfunktion, TC, Zinc, The Force, Callide, Aries, Local substance, Recluse and more.
After having an extremely successful start to 2007 Trackin is still set on moving forward and what better way to do this than to gain his best break yet. RAVEOLOGY! “The return of the Q Club†sees Trackin support one of the biggest line-ups to grace the Q club (Birmingham) to date. Thanks to some great people he is able to do this! With bookings currently coming thick and fast for nights all over the midlands including DJ Escape's very own Muzik Hertz tour nights he is more than happy with what he has achieved…..SO FAR!!! The Saga continues.....
