Black Prince is a mostly power-death-symphonic metal band with neo classical riffs, female and brutal vocals.We are still on the very start of our carrer. Black Prince was formed in 2006 in Corfu, Greece. When Greg and Kostas decided to form the band a new member was added. That was Franjesca (the ex-vocalist) that gave a touch of opera to the sound of the band. But unfortunately Francesca had to leave and her place took Pol. His brutal vocals gave a death feeling to the sound of the group. After a while Lena joined the band to give her voice and feeling for a new sense of opera-jazz. Fragiscos joined the band as a rythm guitarist,after David had left Black Prince, and Nick as a basist. On the keyboards we had continuous replacements and thats the reason why we cant tell u now who will be the keyboardist!
At this moment Kostas (Lead Guitar) decided to follow a solo career, so now we have Fragiscos on guitars (and we are in search for another guitarist). Francesca (the x-vocalist) re-joined the band as a keyboardist this time.
We had technical problems and that was the reason that our work delayed a bit...but you wil have our news soon!!! Stay on the metal side of life!!!!

In a few words the ispiration of the band name was actually Francesca's idea. Black Prince was Edward of Woodstock Prince of Wales. He didnt serve as a king because he died one year before his father. The legend wants Edward of Woodstock wearing a Black armor in battle and thats why he is beihg called Black Prince!
