About Me

After graduating from good ol' San Benito High, I escaped Hollister to...Turlock. Which is a little worse than Hollister, but whatever. I attended CSU Stanislaus for a couple of years, not knowing what the hell to do with my time. The only thing I found was that you you can't have a fucking conversation with anyone without them quoting the bible. So I said "Christ on a cracker!" to the bible humpers, threw caution to the wind, and applied for art school!
I attended the Art Institute of CA-SF and received a B.S. (ha ha, bullshit) in Media Art & Animation. I like draw-rings. Met a lot of cool people there. Met a lot of people that taught me some lessons about life and myself in general, both good and bad. But I would never trade the friends I made there and I hope we all get together soon.
I recently got promoted!!! I am now working as the coordinator for one of the most talented art departments in the bay area. I am working on my own personal projects and taking time to learn the tricks and trade from the artists I have befriended at work. It took a long time to get here, but I feel that things will pay off very soon. I hope to share the wealth and help my friends out in anyway possible.
Yeah...that felt good.
I got married to my best friend back in October, 2004. I know it sounds cliche, but it's true: he is my friend, my soul mate, the one I was meant to be with. He was the friend I felt most at home with and I never understood why. He came in to my life when I was convinced that love wasn't my "thing" at the time. About a month in to it, I let my guard down and let him in. Two months in to dating, on a special night in front the steps of Grace Cathedral, we decided to get married. We had a beautiful wedding with all the people we hold dear. I bless everyday that we spend together. He patiently shows me that there are so many things to enjoy in life and that I shouldn't worry so much about the little things.
I believe in the friends I have, the family that's dear to me, and in my marriage. I'm learning not to worry about the people that have hurt me in the past because life is short...and they'll get fat eventually anyway. Bwar har har har har har!!!
