About Me

'Late Nite Catechism' has been Seattle's divine comedy since 1998. Mother Superior (Maripat Donovan, author) opened on February 19, 1998 at The First Covenant Church on Capitol Hill. Novice Sister (Aubrey Manning) started splitting the schedule as of March first and then became the only Sister for Seattle on June 1, 1998. With the brilliance of Douglas Grey and the blessing of Gordon Edelstein, Sister's class was moved to A Contemporary Theatre on June 10, 1999. 'Late Nite Catechism' has played all over the world but Seattle has the longest continuous running nun (no longer a novice). Cloud 9 Productions and The ACT Theatre will celebrate ten years in February, 2008!!Sister's Awards: 2006 Nell Shipman Honor, 2005 Blessed Marie Rose Award (Sisters of The Holy Names of Jesus and Mary), 1998 Seattle Times "Cash Cow"COMING UP: 'Sister' will be featured in the new XBox thriller, 'Alan Wake', as Sherriff Pat.
