They say music soothes the savage beast...music has always been a strong influence in my life. It is always playing in the background as I am reading. Lately I have discovered a love of writing. Poetry has helped me to unburden myself without burdening others. Watching football and baseball has always been a father/daughter thing...Thank goodness for cell phones, so we can call each other while we are at different games now. I dearly love experiencing anything new...I guess that comes from living in some many different places. Oh yeah, I collect anything related to the Disney Princesses...has to be Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty though.

I love the "hair bands" of the eighties. A little bit of country is thrown in with Garth, Trisha, Shania, Collin Raye, Wade Hayes, Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney, and a few others. And then there is Kid Rock, Uncle Kracker, Eminem, 3 Doors Down, Three Days Grace, Godsmack, Linkin Park, Metallica, Bon Jovi, ShineDown, Nickelback, MatchBox Twenty, and a little pop stuff.

My all time favorite movie is Star Wars: A New Hope with Return of the Jedi a close second. I actually like Revenge of the Sith even though I haven't like any of the prequels until now. I am an action flick lover with an occasional chick flick thrown in there. My movie collection is relatively small...here's the run down: Pearl Harbor, Black Hawk Down, Remember the Titans, The Cutting Edge, EverAfter, The Faculty, The Princess Diaries 1 & 2, King Arthur, Anastasia, Cinderella 2, Beauty and the Beast: Christmas, Snow White, The Lion King, Stars Wars Trilogy, and 40 Days and 40 Nights

I don't watch alot of TV, but I do like sports and news.

I will read any mindless romance to unwind. The Dennis Bryd Story, Robin and the King, any in the Stars Wars series, and countless historical books.
Heroes:
My parents for putting up with me are my all time heroes. To me any hero is someone who does something out of the ordinary without regard for fame or fortune, so there are way too many to list on this simple site...They range from historical figures that completed firsts to people who just give a helping hand.
