ATTENTION BOSTONIANS:
Music has always been a huge part of Maya's life.......'nuff said.
At the beginning of February 2007, Maya teamed up with her best friend Shaun Lichtenstein (guitarist of Lansdowne), to finally turn her lyrics into songs. From the practice rooms of Berklee College of Music, they worked hard to make sure the music was just as inspiring to her as the lyrics. Creating a blend of indie-rock that was not only unique, but also enticicing and meaningful, Maya recorded the songs and began to get her music out to as many people possible. Her catchy hooks and a powerful voice has already caught the attention of many people. She believes that her true motivation has come from the friends, family, and life-changing experiences that have brought her to this point.
