Zak Hamza: B.A (Hons) Video & Film Production
My name is Zak Hamza. I specialise in screen writing and directing and work very closely with actors. I also have experience in sound design and producing. I have worked on a variety of different videos including various drama's and promotional films. I am currently open to all types of work in film and available for collaborations in any types of role whether it would be a runner, assistant director or as an actor as I am eager to continue learning and gaining experience in the industry..
As an actor I have trained part time on the LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts) course at Stourbridge College which I completed in July 2007 having studied there for four years. I have now completed all medals having recently been awarded my gold medal at a Distinction level. My acting experience is from both stage and in student films. I have also appeared in an educational interactive flash video that was apart of the BBC Jam programme. Also have experience in live TV presenting. I recently presented Art + Design TV for the University of Wolverhampton and in June 2007 I helped to produce the BA (Hons) Video & Film Production Degree show.
I work closely with other graduates of Video & Film Production whom I consider both collegues and friends. We have (and continue to) colloborate on many different projects. Colloboraters include: Brown Dog Media & Film , My Tea Productions , Clayhill Productions , M.S.Gill and MSC Media. If you are looking for further crew/cast member within the West Midlands area specifically around Wolverhampton and Birmingham you can find myself and other affiliates, along with information on film festivals and other arts related ventures at Film Makers of Wolverhampton .
