Ritmo Caliente Orquesta has performed at all the top nightclubs in Los Angeles, San Diego, Palm Springs and throughout Southern California. The band has performed at top concerts and festivals, and has also opened and shared the stage with top Latin artists such as El Gran Combo, Tito Rojas, Oro Solido, Grupo Niche, Fulanito, Grupo Gale, Albita, Fruko y sus Tesos. The band was also chosen to represent Los Angeles at the San Francisco Salsa Congress, a Pretty Boys & Girls Production in November 2004. The Band was proudly been playing at the Agua Caliente Casino for thee and a half years, every Wednesday, for Salsa night. Just Last year, Ritmo Caliente also recorded two original jingles for the Ford Car Company and the Toyota Car Company, which hit TV and the radio airwaves nationwide. In addition, the Emerging Group appeared in the November 2004 issue of Latin Beat Magazine, and on A Univision TV (Channel 34) special, "Adopta Una Ilusion" that aired for eight consecutive days in last years. 116th Annual Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, which helped raise funds for 220 band members from Costa Rica. “Los Angeles de las Americas†which also aired worldwide hosted it.
The Band’s recently released CD, titled “Pa’ Los Rumberosâ€, contains original songs along with songs from different performers like Celia Cruz, Selena and Conjunto Matamoros, but with a treasure trove for listener dancers alike.
Ritmo Caliente Orquesta is definitely recognized for its outstanding performances along with its energetic stage presence throughout the Latin entertainment industry. Their success is not a secret; it is actually based on having the same talented professional musicians for the past Four years, with the exception of professional Bass player Matthew Spencer.
