Rampant intellectualism as a coping mechanism.

About Me

Girl with too many interests and too much ambition. I want to do EVERYTHING! I sing, play guitar, piano, violin pretty good, was a dancer and choreographer for 7 years, I love learnig languages, writing music and stories, love the outdoors, painting, drawing, tennis and swimming, acting. I love movies and books. I am interested philosophy. I like people with a sense of humour. If I want something, I'll work hard to get it, and I usually do, but not always.

My Interests

I think I covered that...

I'd like to meet:

Ambitious and beautiful people, but fun people too. I love beautiful things. Anyone who has a cool idea and is pursuing it.

Music:

All kinds. I like melodic to heavy stuff. If it has quality I like it. But I hate Yellowcard. I'm sorry if I offend people by saying this, but they really do suck. I've studied music and they just....ugh, they have NO musical merit at all...

Movies:

I hate romance movies. I like action movies and horror movies. I like things like Schindler's List, Dracula, Kill Bill, Tale of Two Sisters. But I don't mind odd movies that have interesting ideas such as The Hours or Cruel Intentions. If they have something in it that moves me, I like it. My fave actors are (in no particular order) Ralph Fiennes, Johnny Depp, Richard Roxburgh, and Ewan McGreggor. Fave actresses are Nicole Kidman (she's so hott), Sarah Michelle Gellar, Juliette Binoche.

Television:

I don't watch TV. It's a waste of precious time, and there's nothing on anyway.

Books:

Paradise Lost (which is where my name is from for those lame people who define American brains by assuming it's from Disney's Little-Freakin'-Mermaid), Imperial Woman, The Crusades by Harold Lamb. I love biographies and historical fiction, sci-fi. Also I'm addicted to manga. I've read thousands of manga. It's sick. And I have a huge collection. Oh, I'll pretty much read anything you give me.

Heroes:

Diana, Princess of Wales. I've read all the books I could find on her. I can relate to her alot.
