Hyperactive artist type. Interested in all areas of publishing, book production and selling, used book scouting and at the end of its life - book pulping. I need to buy into a forestry company that grows trees for papermaking...hmmmCreator of 30 day poetry festival, Bardfest which ran from 1999-2002 as a month long event in Berks County, PA. Founded a 501 c3 poetry non-profit, Berks Bards, to oversee and run the event. Cofounded Plan B Press in 1998.Have curated and run poetry readings from Central PA to Philadelphia. Head an international publishing company, Plan B Press, which has brought out books by established poets (Lamont Steptoe, Lyn Lifshin, Robert Miltner) as well as introducing audiences to numerous new voices (Jim Mancinelli, Ryan Eckes, Constance Boyle, Kevin Zepper, etc.)would love to work for UNESCO in Paris

My Interests

collage making, film making, book production, running a Press, writing poetry and other pieces, reading, travel, putting together large arts events, meeting new people, creating and performing work using multimedia.

everything but gospel, hawaiian music, and steel guitar.

Fellini, Cubist filmmakers, B&W films starring Carole Lombard, the Thin Man series, Alfred Hitchcock, Terry Gilliam, Marlo Brando films from 1953-1959. James Dean's 3 films. Most of Martin Scorese's films.

Television:

TV is a wasteland; a remote controlled, "250-channel-and-nothing-on" wasteland.
