Think of an intoxicating rave where everybody thirsts for maximum pleasure. Try to imagine the most melancholic moment during a lyrical performance of a classical piece of music. And put yourself in front of a stage where a fast moving live concert is about to start. From now on, you don't have to close your eyes to enjoy these impressions altogether:
Cellectric Violince is a prime example for the connectional and integrating power of electronic music, for a melting pot of art, where apparently insuperable differences become common and create something completely new. What began with the simple idea of bringing original DJ and Club Music back to the stage, soon became a steady morphing bastard, continuously growing with every new genre we try to involve. Our journey started in the endless width of Jungle and Drum'n'Bass and it was quite surprising, that the vibrant energy of broken beats soon took us to the places where we came from: Music such as Jazz, Acid or Orchestral Avantgarde. When we made our first studio sessions, these backgrounds and the aim to cross the common ideas of musical genres, originated that unique sound on our first, self produced record, which was mixed by bandmember and laptop artist jannique.
As one can imagine this wasn't ment to be the end. Very much fascinated by it's deepness and urban aesthetic we now dwell on Dubstep, using countless live-effects to push the strings and the drum sounds beyond recognition. But with an insatiable thirst for new impressions we're quite sure, that this won't be our final destination and our restless legs will keep us moving...
