Ioannis Goudelis (Pianist, accordionist, composer, arranger)Born in Athens Greece and growing up in the island of Corfu, Ioannis started from a very young age playing the piano by ear. At the age of nine he received his first classical training and soon he started performing professionally. Later on he was honored with a full scholarship in jazz piano performance at Arizona State University. His compositions and unique style on the piano, is a blending of classical music with his Greek heritage and Latin rhythms with gypsy and jazz bebop lines. He has performed at festivals, clubs and concert halls throughout the world: from Greece and Europe to Africa and the Middle East and, throughout the United States. Some of his worldwide appearances have included Sedona Jazz Festival 2006 and 2008 with Cinco de Moio, Paxos Jazz Festival 2005 in Greece with his European ensemble, Scottsdale Center for the Arts in Phoenix with worldwide known artist Chris Spheeris and Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix with the flamenco music ensemble Mosaico. He has recorded more than twenty albums as a sideman on the piano and accordion, and his debut album ' Life Goes On...' was released in July 2007.
