The Federal Highway Commission and MNDOT is planning to seize my Mom's 88 acre farm in northern MN for the HWY 371 bypass of Pequot Lakes. The city council and the mayor was placed to put this 80 million dollar project through by congressman Jim Oberstar. MN gets over 2 billion dollars per year for highways thanks to Oberstar. He wants as many four lane highways going to Canada for importing as possible. This is a waste of your tax dollars. The head of MNDOT was fired for misappropriation of funds after the bridge fell into the Mississippi river last year.
