He works has a professional actor in theatre,Cinema, Cartoon voices and performance.He is not a professional musician, He was born in a small town called Onions Field from above(Cebolais de Cima) a town in the country side, near the Tejo border between spain and Portugal. When he was a child he played Drums in a mini drum but he never realy denveloped the skills for this instrument. His parents listened Jazz, Pink Floyd and Portuguese revolutionary authors. He had a deep contact with nature, breathing pure in the midle of oaks and pines. He woke up to musicology in 1993/94 when he moved his residence to Castelo Branco.He beggon to lissen to Sonic Youth, Nirvana,Velvet Underground, smashing pumpkins,big black,Ned's atomic dustbin,Flaming lips, Sebadoh, Beastie Boys, Consolidated, Rage, Senser,Beastie, sex Pistols,spearm birds and a lot of Classical music. 1994 had "A new Hippie feeling" on the air and a lot of high middle class kids in CB listen to independent melodic bands, and they beggin to have their own. He was part of CAPTAIN CLOWN crew, cause in that time he didn't realy enjoy to perform in any conventional instrument, actualy He afirmed that he didn't realy had the skills."-I was turning my concentration to other arts like theatre and lisure quest, eheh!"He had an experimental Band with Luis Valente, Rui Fininho and Renato Jecobetty called LESMAS ANACRONICAS...where they perform Trippy,scatological mono tonal voices full of theatricality.This was the root time of GODBEEN, then you put a bit o Humus from Coimbra 1997-2000, water from Bristol 2001 & 2006, light from Lisbon and you get what he said"- a profound necessity of producing music". He uses Ableton Live 6.1, cubase,soundforge and Fruty loops 6. Theatre speaches, samples,pads from Korgms2000b,ms20,z1,loops and waves from magazines and from the vibrating universe. I denvelop my skills playing Roland sh 201, Prophet VS, Korg Electribe ESX-1, electribe-R,Yamaha RS7000,and an old Akay MPC with ENSEMBLE FANTASMA, MR EKO and friends from Lisbon experimental ambient band MUSGO.
