Hello. The real Maitreya is HERE IN THE WORLD, NOW. I've known him for 20 years. IT'S TIME FOR THOSE WHO ARE RIGHT AND READY TO FIND HIM. Join the rest of the Maitreyans in our spiritual community who have been growing quietly in the world. His religion is called God's Eternal Universal Religion. I'm on Myspace primarily to find like-minded souls who are ready to find out about The Maitreya. He did not give that title to himself, he received it in his experiences and revelations from God.
The Maitreya was awakened by God and taken into Perfect Union with God, twice - once when he was 8 years old (on August 7, 1951) and again on March 12, 1977 when he was 34 years old. When he was 8, he had a death experience and he as pure Spirit went home into perfect union with God, and he was shown the suffering of the world and given the choice whether to come back to help others or not.
He not only chose to come back, he was so overcome with Compassion for all the suffering in the world that he Vowed that he would never go back home to God again, until all Souls had gone before him. God then Promised that all Souls who accepted Maitreya would be guaranteed to go all the way beyond Heaven to Perfect Final Union with God at the end of their life.
Maitreya teaches, from his own experience, that Perfect Union is becoming One with God - being God. It's as far above Heaven as Heaven is above hell. Heaven is just being close to God. But now you can go beyond Heaven all the way to Oneness with God - like a drop of water falling into the Sea, becomes the Sea, and doesn't stay separate.
That's why The Maitreya is here now - because God wants to give this Promise and New Covenant to all willing Souls, so we can return home to God and get off the wheel of birth, life, suffering, sorrow, pain, fear, old age, and death. ("Following" Maitreya simply means following him all the way Home to God.) Maitreya is the Friend of all Souls and once you receive Initiation and attain Consecration, he is your Friend in Spirit and he guides you home to God. THOSE WHO HAVE THE SPIRITUAL SIGHT WHO CAN TRULY SEE AND THE EARS TO TRULY HEAR GOD'S NEW WORD AND THE OPEN HEART TO TRULY RECEIVE will be able to recognize The Maitreya and receive God's New Covenant and Promise. Maitreya is the kind of person who is only here to give, not to take, and does not say he is God, but is here to say we are all One with God in spirit. He is not here to depose other religions, he is here to return the truth to the foundation of all religions.
We only need to have a certain percentage of Maitreyians working toward Critical Mass, and then when Divine Critical Mass occurs, all Souls will be saved, no matter whether they were our enemy or friend or otherwise. Please do not think "we are all working toward the same goal." If you are not a Maitreyian in every way, you may be doing good work and God Bless you for it, but you are not working toward the same Divine Critical Mass that God has ordained will come through the self-sacrifices of Maitreya the Friend of all Souls.Find it out.

While Maitreya is here for every single Soul no matter where they live or what their politics may be, the Maitreya also cares deeply about America and does not fit any preconceived ideas on how people may think his opinions should be. He has talked on the phone with presidential candidates and with Generals in Iraq. He founded the first Memorial Day Parade in Redondo Beach, California. He built an Empty Chair Memorial on his property to honor fallen soldiers.
