HEEEY myspace world! What is there to say about me? I like to think I’m a mix of contradictions…and I find this to be a compliment ;) Currently I’m a second year med student (which means it’s my job to believe that I’ve incurred every disease that I learn about in the classroom) and also a second year grad student (which really just means I play with rats in the lab for lengthy periods of time). Ok so I know I’ve got a lot of my plate, but in reality, I do love being in school (yes, I do realize how nerdy that sounds). Somehow between the sleepless nights and bottomless cups of coffee, I find that being in med school is really a lot of fun. I suppose that has something to do with being in school with 2 of my nearest and dearest ?…not to mention all the new people I’ve met.
When I’m not busy being a big nerd (which is a lot of the time), I’m usually in New York City, my happy spot. I really and truly do love that city…everything about it – from the high-end fashion, to the greasy food, to the classy restaurants, to the hidden hotspots, to the best street vendor food, to just about everything. Once upon a time in my past life, I was quite the party girl…and some days she’s still in there, ready to go! I’m always up for adventure, trying new things, and going new places.
Well that brings me to my loves….the ones that keep me afloat. I have a really amazing family, really great friends, an extremely lovable dog, and the bestest boyfriend. Guess you can say I’m pretty lucky when it comes to great people in my life.
Random facts….I love TV. I hate being bored. I love sunsets. I hate being cold. I love traveling. I hate being jetlagged. I love ice cream. I hate onions. I love new jeans. I hate trying them on. I love to shop. I hate spending my money. I hate being inefficient. I love to procrastinate. I hate laziness. I love being Type A (and I totally am).
Well that’s about it…back to the books!
