McQueens Bullitt(homage to the Bullitts)

(cover band/tribute/homage idea circa; feb/07-??)everyone remember this is an "HOMAGE"/cover band...not something new, I have it parenthetically written in the name.......this is an idea I've attempted initiating which basically consists of a "Steve McQueen and the Bullitts" cover band that's being tweaked with(VEGA APPROVED...lol) currently, I've got ryan camacho who I've known practically since he was a tyke going to sacred heart then as a high schooler @ st. bonnie....he has plenty of experience; former guitarist for "Steve McQueen and the Bullitts" and former "The Demonikats" uprite bassist....I formerly played with "The Assault" before they were known as "The Assault" in 02-03 and also practiced with "Steve McQueen and the Bullitts" a few times, back in 03. I was asked to play guitar for a show by josh, but had differences at the time; so for one reason or another; it didn't work out, and for sure we've have grown stronger as friends as time has passed......anyways, as I've mentioned; ryan's been around; band to band, always working and he's still finding time to be here for his homies....still problems arise and shit happens, so we definitely can't always meet.....however, we try managing......this cover/tribute/homage band is in the works; and I since I've got 1/4 of the guys(ryan), I've just gotta continue to persist with my buddies; the original "Steve McQueen and the Bullitts"(frankie/mike)....but no guarantees.....and like anyone who is trying hard at what they want to be dedicated to; I'm always practicing, constantly sharpening up on anything that needs work...........so far, no regrets..but musically; I really miss what was or what could have been; with these guys potentially becoming a bigger big part of ventura county's punk rock scene..... -villalobos
