I'd like to meet:

people with non-streaking and mild abrasive action. people that stay crunchy, even in milk. ghosts. deities. richard feynman. nikola tesla. brunelleschi. king arthur. rameses II.

Music:

lounge, exotica, goth, some britpop, old-school metal, industrial, ebm, film scores, traditional world music, etcetera, etcetera. anything of reasonable musical value. if it's radio stuff, it probably sucks.

Movies:

akira kurosawa, jean-pierre jeunet and marc caro, terry gilliam, roman polanski, hayao miyazaki...the ninth gate, the fifth element, the thirteenth warrior, the entire geek canon (star wars, LOTR, etc., et al)

Television:

hawaii five-o, alton brown, metalocalypse.

Books:

umberto eco, tolkien, douglas adams, lovecraft. phillip pullman. historical fiction/nonfiction, eastern spirituality, and almost any coffee-table art book.

Heroes:

thomas jefferson, bruce lee, sanjuro kuwabatake, steve mcgarret, derek flint, nick jainschigg, einstein, ben franklin, kanbei shimada, kyuzo, conan the barbarian, conan o'brien
