Clark Kent and Hytek have joined forces this year to become 2 of house music’s newest dynamic duos. CK and Hytek didn’t just come together as a team this year...but have been friends for 20 years. Its only this year that they became inspired by their mixing and music styles that they decided to work together. Having a plethora of styles to choose from allows Kryptonite to suprise you every time they play. While house and techno are their main styles, dont be suprised to hear breaks, progressive, or even some big room trance during their sets. Be ready for Big Things from these two in the future!!Over the last few years Clark Kent has spent his time perfecting the single most important part of being a dj, making people dance. Coming from the south suburbs of Chicago, Clark has loved house music since the day he heard it. Being a performer is something that Clark has had in his blood since he was a little kid. It was only a matter of time before his love for being in front of an audience and house music turned him into a dj. Starting out playing college parties with friends and eventually getting booked for the infamous Audio Overdose at Western Illinois University; Clark found his calling. Once he got back from school and moved to Chicago, he had bigger things on his mind. After getting to Chi-town in March of 2005 you could say he has been making his mark. He has already blessed the floors of many major clubs and underground events in Chicago including: Sound Bar, Krem, the Kickback parties, Family Reunion 8, and Street Raver. According to Clark it doesnt matter where he plays as long there is a love for the music. Whether you see Clark spin at a party or a club you can always be sure of one thing, you’re in for a show!!If you know Hytek, you know his passion for electronic music. Now matter what environment, he relates to everyone listening with various twists. When you ask Hytek what style he spins, he answers with Dance Music….he is not particular to one style. You can catch him incorporating techno, house, tech, progressive, tribal, electro, minimal, breaks, and trance into every set….and you would not know the difference…its all dance music to him. If you had to categorize it to one sound….you could call it Big Room. You can always tell Hytek is on the decks when you hear big room build-ups with thumping tribal bass lines. Hytek started dj-ing for his friends at house parties back in high school. Eight years later you can find him downtown in the city spinning or at any underground event happening in the MidWest. Hytek made his mark with the Acomplis Productions campouts of 2006 and the Kickback events of 2006 hosted by Infared Productions. Now in 2007, Hytek has joined forces in 2007 with Infared, GTP, and Abduction Radio as a resident. Hytek has hosted residencies from West Palm Beach, Fl. to his home-Chicago. Expect nothing less than remarkable things in the future. CLICK IMAGE TO VIEW EVENT PAGE!
