Come see us at Goffs Battle of the Bands 2008:
Bad Omen started life in a garage somewhere in Cheshunt in July 2005 with guitarists Ben Rose and Michael Havis, then under the name of 'Destructive Revolution'. The band struggled to find their feet for a few months and recruited drummer Mark Wainwright. They then entered an XFM contest with a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover, with thoroughly mixed success - coming in at 89th place (out of around 180 entries). After a few recordings the band decided to find a new place to practice in.
Having more success there, they began jamming and writing some original material in the summer of 2006. Meeting up every Sunday, the band would develop, hone and practice their songs; this went on for many months.
In May 2007 the band chose Goffs School's Battle of the Bands for their on-stage debut.
