About Me


I am a Russian/Ghanaian(Ashanti)classically trained Violinist, Solo/orchestral/chamber musician has gained experience in performing different genres of music classical/Ambient/New Wave/experimental/Electronica/Club/Pop. Member of the Reggae Philharmonic Orchestra and Urban Soul Orchestra. The Reggae Philharmonic Orchestra is a unique orchestra, made up of primarly black and multi-ethnic classically trained musicians who record, perform and teach programmes of music that embrace the rich and the complex contributions made by the BME community to the Britsh music scene. A reggae band with strings, reggae strings with band, the RPO exists as a performing ensemble in its own right, as well as contributing to countless sessions and projects. Founded by Mykaell S. Riley in 1989, the ensemble has since enjoyed many years of performance with sell-out concert tours all around the world inculding UK, France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, the European festival circuit, Hong Kong, Japan and a series of British Council funded tours to Jamaica and the Cayman Islands - as well as performing with Bob Marley's band - The Wailers.Check out!!! Reading, Nature, Music, gaining new experiences no matter how small! Everything really! (how vague you might say..) It just depends on what emotional state I am in at the time I guess.....

After giving it some thought....Nelson Mandela, Angela Davis - an american Human Rights Activist and Academic, who I was named after, David Bowie naturally!!!! Jarvis Cocker - stand up for the right to be different!! Bill Hicks - for telling it how it really is. Anyone who is brave enough to follow their instincts, to bring a positive change to things in their lives and the lives of people around them. To laugh in the face of adversity and to keep on going no matter how hard it gets.
