Pretty shiny things
I'd like to meet any conjoined twins, William Shatner, Madonna, the Loch Ness Monster, Big Foot, The Ogopogo, a friendly alien or Martha Stewart holding a big cake. -and maybe David Bowie if he behaves himself
Radiohead, Neko Case, Death in Vegas, The Dandy Warhols, and all the "B's" in my CD collection, Bowie, Bjork, Bush (as in Kate!!), The Breeders etc. And I think I might be a Yo Yo Ma nerd, been liking him lately.
A good action flick. Movies with tough chicks like, "Long Kiss Goodnight", "La Femme Nikita", "Charlie's Angels" etc. I might be a chick because some of my favorite movies are like, "Orlando", "Portrait of a Lady", and "Auntie Mame". I have guilty pleasure movies on my list that star people like, Sandra Bullock in "Forces of Nature" and Julia Roberts in "Nottinghill", ugh, I hate myself for even writing that. Other favorites are "The Black Stallion", "Diva", "American Beauty" and "Laurel Canyon". And I love anything by Almodovar; his irreverent sensibility floors me. And so that the one or two people who might read this won't think I am a total heathen, I feel like I should mention that I also like the Italian directors like Fellini and Visconti and especially Antonioni, oh yeah and whoever did "Bitter Rice".
America's Next Top Model, The Simpsons, The Antiques Roadshow, Will and Grace and South Park. I miss Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Star Trek (mostly Next Generation and Voyager) and Sex in the City. I am not impressed with TV these days. I am not really into reality television. If I wanted reality, I'd live it. Donald Trump could go to Hell as far as I'm concerned. And Fear Factor, ugh, what's up with all the sadism; are the producers all ugly people who get-off on having attractive people humiliate themselves.
Anything Robertson Davies, Margaret Atwood is good, I like David Sedaris and the occasional Anne Rice and Dean Koontz. And I try to read all the Booker Prize winners
Yael, Spiderman and William Shatner, and Richard George
