I am here for Friends

About Me

I live in Moseley in Birmingham. I've just started a new job working at Town Hall which will be a gig/concert venue. It's a great job. I love music and films and like going to gigs and partying.»-(¯`v´¯)-» Design your MySpace with MyLook «-(¯`v´¯)-«

My Interests

I like music. Music and films. Nice pubs such as The Tap and Spile, The Wellington and The Prince of Wales. Beardy real ale drinkers are funny to laugh at and I might just become one if I can't think of anything better to do in 15 year time. 24 is my main hobby/interest at the moment. Jack Bauer is THE man.

I'd like to meet:

Jack Bauer, Jet from Gladiators, Michael J Fox, John Fashanu (AWOOOOOOGA), Simon Pegg, Mongoloid gays, Jack Black, Dave Grohl, Bill Bailey, John Barnes, Jarvis Cocker and Richard Hawley.Girls too.I don't like: Chavs (apart from when my freinds dress up as them, garage music, 3 drains in a row, rude people, wasps, marzipan, The Scissor Sisters.

Music:

In no particular order (although the first ones are my favourites): Beck, Bloc Party, Richard Hawley, The Arcade Fire, Flaming Lips, Elbow, Ed Harcourt, The Foo Fighters, Albert Hammond Jnr, Tenacious D, Badly Drawn Boy, The Dears, The Guillemots, The Mystery Jets, My Latest Novel, Bright Eyes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Coral, SFA, Ben Folds, Kings of Leon, Doves, Weezer, QOTSA, Weller, Gomez, Pulp, The Magic Numbers, Jim Noir, Liam Frost and the Slowdown Family, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Chris TT, Fonda 500, The Who, SFA, Supergrass, Spiritualized, Aretha Franklin, Steve Winwood, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Jackson 5, Nick Cave, Polyphonic Spree, Blur, Libertines, Green Day, Bob Dylan, White Stripes, East 17, Jeff Buckley, Manics, Primal Scream, Divine Comedy, Captain Dangerous, Linear, Oasis, Lemon Jelly, William Shatner, Elvis Costello, Elliot Smith, The Velvet Underground, Tony Ferrino...

Movies:

Big Lebowski, Star Wars, LOTR, Bubba Ho-Tep, X-Men, Buffalo Soldiers, Millers Crossing, Heat, Fargo, Shawshank Redemption, Almost Famous, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Sin City, A History of Violence, Back to the Future, Indy, zombie films, Peter Jacksons early stuff (like Braindead etc), Anything with Bill Murray in it or Wes Anderson directing is a winner.

Television:

Garth Meranghis Dark Place, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Planet Earth (I could watch this all day), Peep Show, Spaced, Partridge, Any Chris Morris, The Office, Family Guy, Round the twist, Transformers, Thundercats, Turtles, Whose Line is it anyway, Quantam Leap, Time Trumpet, Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, The Bill, Wildlife programmes, Jools Holland, Simpsons, Lost, Jonathan Ross, Eastenders, Jam and the highly addictive 24 - better than crack it is...Also just watched Marrion & Geoff for the 1st time - awesome!

Books:

Have recently read The Time Travellers Wife, Making History by Stephen Fry, like Nick Hornby, Douglas Adams, Tolkein...

Heroes:

Michael J Fox, Robin Hood, Chris Morris, Ricky Gervais, Simon Pegg, Dave Grohl, Bill Bailey, Ryan Stiles, Steve Coogan (the randy, drug crazed fuck), Jack Black, Kyle Glass, John Barnes, Kenny Dalglish & Jamie Carragher, everyone should love Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm and Seinfeld)he is probably the funniest and coolest guy that has EVER lived.
