Aydra&Oscar

This Indonesian underground group -- DJ and Producer of Electricyouth -- was formed in Jakarta in late 2005 by Jaya and Ocha (also known as Aydra and Oscar). After their high school graduation in early 2005, Aydra left to Singapore while Oscar started his solo DJ career and his side project (non EDM project) in Jakarta. When in late 2005 Aydra went back to Jakarta for a couple of weeks, they started to compose some tunes in Oscar's room. Afterwards, they started and EDM group called Electricyouth. This group combined the elements of various genre -- Electro, Acid, New Waves, Tech, Alternative and electronic vibes -- to form the hottest beats and melodies in modern Electroic Dance Music. In 2007, due to the similarity of name to another group, the name Electricyouth was no longer used. It becomes Aydra&Oscar since then. They release their first track called "Against Racism" in January 2007. In February, Anto -- their old high school friend who was studying in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia -- was added as an additional guitarist and singer. They completed their 2-cover tracks debut in April 2007, featuring 2 cover tracks from Motorcycle's As The Rush Comes and Ferry Corsten's Fire. They soon start spinning and producing under their independent-record label. Today, although the group members are living in different countries -- Aydra, Oscar and Anto are still producing musics by sending the original files to each other.
