About Me

We're an online-zine called ThePitReport.com. We've been around for three years now bringing you ALL things ROCK. We work with major labels (EMI, Warner, Sony/BMG, ) and pretty much every indie label (Victory, Epitaph, Trustkill...etc) you can think to help promote their bands through interviews, photos, reviews, contests and more. Why are we so obsessed with bringing you the best of the best? Well the answer is simple. We LOVE LOVE LOVE music and think it's extremely important that all you lovely/stunning/wonderful people stay in the loop when it comes to your beloved music scene. We've worked religiously on tours such as Ozzfest, Coachella, Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos, Sounds of the Underground and many others. We've learned a lot by working side by side with tons of different people in the music industry all of which play different, but crucial parts in making things happen. This has allowed us to become good friends with many of the Bay Area's top venues, thus allowing us to promote and book shows. If you need any help booking a show please dont hesitate to send us a message (although this isn't our primary expertise we'd be happy to help!). Also we are on the verge of launching a BRAND NEW SITE that will have a separate UNSIGNED section for all those bands who are trying to get their foot in the door.

Influences: We are influenced by a ton of bands, especially the ones we work with. We work with bands signed and unsigned as well as record labels indie and major...It's impossible to list the wide array of artists that we've worked with, check the site to find out more.
Sounds Like: ALL THINGS ROCK, which includes but definitely isn't limited to: punk, hardcore, metal, metalcore, alternative, emo, screamo, indie, nu metal, pop rock, pop punk,industrial, gothic, experimental, garage, ska, new wave...
