Yes, yes, I'm re-writing my "About Me" section for the ten millionth time.. I guess it's part boredom and part me not liking what I have now that have driven me to do it... Hopefully this one will be better than the last but if not.... well, then I'll just have to re-re-write it later on. (which I will probably do anyway at some point).
I just turned 30 years old in January *sigh* but in all honesty I don't feel that old and I'm pretty sure I don't act it either. I love to laugh and have a good time and I always try to ensure that those close to me are doing the same. I am a bit on the shy and quiet side until I get to know a person, but once I do know someone it's hard to shut me up, lol. I'm a smart-ass... I almost always have something to say just sometimes I choose to keep it to myself, lol this prevents me from getting in more trouble than need be. I always have an open ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on when my friends and family are in need, I will always be there for the people I care about ~ no ifs, ands, or buts in that department.
My fiance Adam and I got engaged last Spring (April 10, 2007) and will be getting married this coming July. We've been together for 5 and a half years and things are going great. We bought a house in May and hopefully this coming summer my son Jimmy will be coming to live with us. The court case has been put on hold until the end of the schoolyear but from the looks of it things will go in my favor.
For the past 3 years I have worked for Whole Foods Market. It's a pretty good job as far as jobs go and I work with some really great people. That is probably what I like the best about my job - my co-workers.
Other than this stuff I"m really not sure what to write. Outside of work I usually just relax at home or play on the computer. This will probably change once the wheather gets a bit nicer but for right now my life is rather...... slow? I guess that's a good word for it... it's nice to curl up with Adam and watch a good movie but there are always nights when I want to go out and get hammered, lol.
