Eric Velez - CEO/Director. Currently working on his Bachelors Degree and works as a Classroom Assistant in the Osceola School District. Eric has been dancing for 12 years now and has extensively studied Latin Dance and Culture. Relative to Salsa Artist - Joe Quijano and Visual Artist - Nick Quijano , the Arts have always been his inspiration. He is currently the Creative Director for MusicMabs Productions LLC and Choreographer to Latin Recording Artist Maribel Diaz.In working with Maribel Diaz he has had the opportunity to meet Latin Recording Artists such as: Frankie Negron, Kevin Ceballo,Tito Nieves, Domenic Marte, Charlie Cruz, N'Klabe, and was able to share the stage with Branda K. Starr. Most of his training was under El Teatro Rodante Hispanico as a Senior Performance Team Member and SalsaHeat Dance Studio. He quickly moved from instructor, Training Team member, to the Semi-Professional Dance Team. He was also featured in the World's First Online Reality Show "Making the Team" courtesy of Andres Echevarria and BorntoSalsa.com. He has directed/choreographed for many of the dance programs in the Central Islip Schools District, which are still in operation today such as the "Fuerza Latina" Danceteam and the Central Islip High School Show Choir. He was also the Lead Role (Conrad Birdie)in Central Islip High School's Musical Production of ByeBye Birdie and played "Pepe" in West Side Story.He is currently the Asst. Director/Lead Choreographer for the Coqui Dancers and the Gateway Salsa Project in Kissimmee Florida. Eric is also former MC/Dancer for Broadway Entertainment/ Ej the Dj company in New York. Eric has had the opportunity to work in several corporate and community events in the US. Some of his training has also came from workshops given by world famous instructors such as: Magna Gopal (Toronto, Canada), Gigi Marchand, JoAn Abreu, Daisy P. (El Teatro Rodante Hispanico Brentwood,New York) Ismael Otero,Julissa Cruz, Andres Echevarria (SalsaHeat, Orlando), Eric Baez (Orlando, Florida), Shaka Brown, Edie the SalsaFreak (Los Angeles), and Tomas Guerrero (Santo Rico, New York).
