La Sonora de Orlando is a 10 piece latin band based in Orlando, Florida.
Founded by El Director - Eddie Lebron who was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico and moved to New York when he was 5 years old. Eddie plays the piano, composes and arranges. Some of his arrangements are Ansia for Rafi Santi, Juan en La Ciudad and many original tunes soon to come out. Eddie has played with Machito, Hector Lavoe, Latin Dimension, Raffi Santi, Willie Rosario, Kakko, Ismael Rivera, Mon Rivera,Charanga 76, Bobby Cruz, Menique, Charanga America, Rafael Batista, La Novel just to name a few.In 1998 Eddie relocated to Orlando, Florida and LA SONORA DE ORLANDO was created. Our group consists of a combination of musicians who's harmony is more than just musical. Our band members are from all over the world, we have Venezuela, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and USA on board. La Sonora de Orlando was the house band for SAMBA ROOM for over 1 year. We left SAMBA ROOM and started Latin Fridays at CLUB CACHET. In April of 2004 we moved over to Gloria Estefan's restaurant, BONGOS CUBAN CAFE, Downtown Disney and performed there for 2 years. La Sonora de Orlando has played at every Fiesta San Juan at WETNWILD,Latin Sundays at OLD-TOWN, Viva La Musica, SEAWORLD ORLANDO.
