I started singing at the age of four, dancing at the age of six, and acting at the age of ten. Even though I have a strong passion for all and is a definite triple threat, singing is on the top of her list. I put so much passion and effort behind everything i write and perform, because it's my life and I can't give less than 150% to something I believe in and that represents me. Having people tell me that they love my music because they can relate to it is a major accomplishment for me. When I was younger I started performing in recitals and realized that I love being in front of a crowd. My itch for performing grew into a burn that will never go away. My family has always been supportive of my choice to sing, especially since I grew up in a musical family. My father plays bass, my mother sings, my grandfather plays piano, and our cousin is multiple grammy winning drummer ,Roy Hanes. Music runs deep in our blood. When I started singing in church and school I knew this is what I am supposed to be doing. At the age of twelve I started traveling in a group called "Girls with a destiny," as an open act for my parents christian band ,"New Rain."
Now that I am older and have started my own family, I have so much to write about. I've been through a lot in my 21 years. I write from dance songs about silly life annoyances to deeper songs about love,life,and living. My sound is in the pop and R&B genre, but I have a love and appreciation for all music. I am now at a point in my life where I can put my dream as a high priority and focus on it whole heartedly. I don't love music, I LIVE music and can't wait to let the world know!!!
