I LOVE music ...just about any kind except country music and opera... from Metallica, Linkin Park, Godsmack, to Pink Floyd, Joe Cocker, & the Doors. I still have all my old vinyl from the 70's & 80's, and I'd still have my 8-tracks, too, if they hadn't all melted in my Chevelle one hot summer back then. My best concerts: Pink Floyd and the Police/The Fixx/Flock of Seagulls. The Ramones, the Roches, and Ed's Redeeming Qualities all rock! ...And so does Eminem.
Movies:
Anything with Vin Diesel, Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman, or Heath Ledger and withOUT Nicole Kidman! I'm not too big on blood and gore, and sci fi sometimes goes right over my head, but if Jay Hernandez is in it, I wanna see it. I'd rather see an action/adventure film than a romantic comedy. Some of my favorite movies are Pay It Forward, Waterworld, A Knight's Tale, The Gauntlet, The Shawshank Redempton, Midnight Express, Spanglish, all the Die Hard films, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, My Dinner with Andre, and Remember the Titans. And let's not forget Thelma & Louise.
Television:
I'm pretty selective about shows I watch. I won't watch TV just for something to do - it has to be something I really wanna see. I like a few reality shows, mostly Survivor, Big Brother & Amazing Race. I HATE Spongebob! I am a TOTAL Seinfeld junkie. CSI, Jeopardy, the original Star Trek, NBA, NFL and some news programs are good, too. Otherwise, I'd rather read a book.
Books:
"Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett is my all time favorite. I am also hooked on everything written by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child and can't wait to read their newest book. Oh, and if anyone out there knows where my "borrowed" (aka STOLEN) copy of Brimstone is, I would appreciate having it back. I will read pretty much anything but romance novels. International espionage & legal thrillers are really good for me. I almost never go anywhere without a book. Right now I'm reading "Jackdaws" by Ken Follett and "The Ultimate Family: The Making of the Royal House of Windsor" by John Pearson.
